Can’t believe it has been 12 weeks!! I have absolutely loved your program – especially having a resistance program that works the whole body. My fitness has shot up amazingly and as I have always trained pretty hard I really did not expect these results. I will let you in on a secret – my initial weight was 67.4kg... I put 66 as my first weigh in cos that is where I thought I was at (scales had to be lying!) so now when I look back I am even more amazed at the fact I am under 60kg – I have never been that in my adult life!! Not only have I lost weight but I am healthy – I have not dieted as such, there have been no fads, just healthy living without cutting out the stuff I love. Thank you Michelle!!

I signed up for
a 12-Week Total Body Transformation Program shortly after the birth of my child
after gaining more than 20kgs during my pregnancy and having a fitness level of
zero. Michelle designed a program for me aimed at regaining my fitness, strength
and vitality with the added benefit of weight loss too. The program was
specifically designed so that it progressed and changed to suit my changing
body and the support I gained from Michelle throughout the 12 weeks was
incredible. I have done a 12 week program through another online training
company previously where I paid a lot more money but I got very little support.
Michelle was available whenever I needed her and she really cared. It wasn't
always easy for me, adapting to so many changes going on in my life and my
body, but Michelle was always a positive, inspiring support person who helped
keep me focus and helped me get back on track when I lost it.
The results, I am now just 2kgs away from my pre-pregnancy weight, I fit into
all my pre-pregnancy clothes again and I am fitter than I have ever been. This
has made such a huge impact on my confidence and self-esteem! Now, I can now
run 8kms, lift heavier weights than I've ever been able to, I have a nice
strong core again and I am training for the 10km run at Gold Coast Marathon in
July... and my baby isn't even 6 months old yet.

With the
Mothers Day Classic coming up I realised it must be 12 months now since I finished
my program with you so thought I would send you an update.
Have been
focusing on running, with other exercise backing it up. I normally run about
70k a week (lots of early starts) and then a couple of strength sessions &
a bike session.
Have set
PBs at all distances this year (good thing about having poor PBs) and ran
Canberra Marathon last weekend in 3:32 - and feeling great after it.
I have
kept off the weight I lost with your help, and feel much more able to make
simple changes to control any fluctuations. I really think am in a good place body wise.

"If nothing changes, nothing changes" This was the first quote Michelle sent me and this is so true. I have just finished my 4 week program and I feel fantastic. My skin looks great, my clothes feel better and I have lost almost 3 kilos and 5 cm off my waist. I have never really been overweight but I had noticed that I had put on a bit of weight around my waist and hips. I realised that after just having turned 40 if I did not do something about now it will just get harder.
I signed up for the 4 week "Kickstart" program. I was a bit nervous about sticking to a food plan as I had never been on a diet before and most diets I have seen in magazines contained foods that were not really appealing. I was therefore greatly surprised when the eating plan arrived and it was not dissimilar from the foods I eat now and enjoy. My biggest challenge was always going to be cutting my alcohol intake as I love wine and would often have a few drinks during the week and lots more on the weekends. This however I found very easy in the end as I was feeling so fit and healthy the last thing I wanted to do was ruin this by having a bit night drinking or a hangover. I never really had realised how much weight this put on and effects it had on the skin and body because I just enjoyed it and considered it a social thing to do.
I had just bought some exercise equipment for home so Michelle put together a terrific program for me to do without leaving the house.Having someone put this program together for me gave me something to focus on and recording my training each day and results each week gave me the incentive I needed to stick to the program. I have just signed up for the 12 weeks maintenance program as I do not want to go back to my old ways and I have still some goals to achieve yet.

Having become very dissasatisfied with face to face personal training and feeling that really I was not getting much support with what I wanted to achieve, I thought I would try online trainining. Admittedly I was a little dubious but words cannot express how great the whole Glow journey has been. I joined Friday afternoon and Michelle contacted me that evening and had my programme to me that weekend. Michelle gives so freely of her time and her knowledge, there is no little hidden extra costs for advice and trust me I asked quite a few questions!!! Michelle would always get back to my emails promptly.
As for the programme I purchased the mini 4 week "I've got an event coming up" and phew the fat blasting circuit was AWESOME. You certainly knew you were alive when performing this and along with the menu plan I felt as though I was more toned at the end of my 4 weeks. Well I enjoyed my Glow journey so much I have just purchased another 12 weeks!!!

The Glow Program is just what I have been looking for. It integrates diet and fitness, keeps me accountable and gives me the tools to plan carefully. I’ve tended to get frozen with indecision about what’s best to do out of the thousands of exercise and diet options, so Michelle, the program and the planning tools have really pushed me through that barrier. I was doing a slim program + exercise at my gym, but they were not integrated together and I found I wanted accountability when it comes to exercise, not just food. I had previously tried another online personal trainer who offers “one-size-fits-all” packages. I found it boring, with little to no motivation and little to no results.
Michelle’s programs are great! She is always coming up with something fun and more challenging. You are not doing the same exercises simply using a heavier weight. She has provided me with many recipes and offered more. I always look forward to a new program and am far from bored. I am constantly challenged and can’t get enough. My only warning is – It is addictive.

I have always exercised but lately had lost my motivation, stopped challenging myself and generally became a bit lazy.
Michelle's program got me kick-started again, giving me guidance as well as encouragement and goals to aim for.
I am feeling so much stronger, fitter and more energetic, and don't even consider missing a workout.
The other thing I liked about the Glow Women's Fitness approach is that in the past, trainers I have worked with seemed to believe that working out had to be the highest priority in your life, and could be quite disapproving if other things got in the way occasionally.

I initially signed up wanting help to lose 6-7 kilos and tone up a bit, and after only 5 weeks I had already lost 5 kilos and really noticed a difference in my shape and fitness. After 8 weeks I had progressed to running for 25 minutes (when I started I could only run for 2-3 minutes), and then Michelle suggested I think about entering a fun run. I never dreamed of being able to run 5kms when I started! And then in my 11th week I competed in my first 5km fun run, and Michelle is now helping me train for an 8km fun run! I was initially pleasantly surprised by how quickly and professionally the whole program was delivered - the questionnaire, the exercises, the diet. The skeptic in me thought "this will be it; I won't hear anything more”.
I was surprisingly proven absolutely completely wrong! Michelle it seems that there is just not enough that you can do for your clients! Weekly progress reports, uplifting advice, emails replied to within the hour, help at hand immediately no matter what.
The service that you provide is impeccable and exceeds all expectations.Whilst I have not seen huge results due to this bug I have you have kept me motivated and made me feel like I am the only client that you have with continual inspirational emails and I know that should the need arise you are just a phone call away.

Here is Darlene's "after" photo although let me tell you the picture does not tell the whole story. Darlene has been regularly competing in fun runs over the last few months and is now in training for her first mini triathlon!
Her days begin before 6am so she can ride, run, swim or hit the gym and be sure her training gets done every day, this is now a strongly embedded habit.
I had the pleasure of meeting Darlene last week when we shot the segment for the Living Life Now program and she looks AMAZING!
I am very proud of her efforts, she has truly been an inspiration and the good news is she is not going anywhere as Darlene remains a Glow Women and will do for some time into the future.

One of the most inspiring aspects of Darlene's transformation is that she achieved this in only 5 weeks of her Glow Program whilst juggling her children and her career.

What is the best training or health advice you have ever been given?
To set mini goals rather than focusing on your overall goal which can be a bit daunting when you first start, particularly if you need to lose lots of weight. By setting mini goals along the way it will help keep you focused on trying to achieve them and keep you on track with reaching your ultimate goal. My mini goals have been to go for a brisk walk at lunchtime for at least 30 minutes 3 times per week, increase my water intake and stick to my eating plan.
